Saskatchewan is a Canadian Prairie province. It is one of the fastest-growing provinces in Canada. Regina and Saskatoon are two well-known cities in Saskatchewan. An individual who wants to live permanently in Saskatchewan can apply through any of the SINP programs. Choosing the SINP program would be the best option to gain permanent residency in Canada. Saskatchewan invites non-Canadian applicants through its different programs to apply for permanent residency.
Why apply to Saskatchewan:
- An offer of employment is not required for the SINP Express Entry category or the Occupation In-Demand category.
- Processing time is relatively faster.
Saskatchewan Programs:

International Skilled Worker-Saskatchewan Express Entry Category:
As the name implies, the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream is for candidates who have an Express Entry profile in the Express Entry system. This stream enables SINP to welcome skilled foreign workers to SINP from outside of Canada. You must create a SINP Expression of Interest to be eligible for the selection.
International Skilled Worker – Saskatchewan Employment Offer Category:
This category is for skilled workers who have a job offer for employment in talented occupations in the province of Saskatchewan. An employer must be registered through an employer website and get approval for the position and job offered.
Saskatchewan follows a point-grid system to qualify for its most popular programs. A candidate is given points for various factors like age, education and training, skilled work experience, language proficiency, and connection to Saskatchewan. A candidate must achieve a minimum eligibility point score to create a profile in the SINP Expression of Interest System.
Steps to Apply:
- If you fulfil the eligibility criteria, create an EOI profile.
- You will be assigned points for your profile.
- After creating an EOI profile, you are in the pool, and the profile with the highest ranking will be selected in the draws.
- Selected profiles in the EOI draw will receive an invitation.
- Now you have 60 days to submit a complete application to SINP.
- Processing Fees: $350 CAD (non-refundable and applicable to Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories only).
