IELTS INFORMATION
1. INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH LANGUAGE TESTING SYSTEM
2. IELTS is jointly owned by the British Council, IDP education Australia, and the Cambridge ESOL.
3. IELTS is one of the tests from various English level proficiency tests for seeking admission in foreign universities/colleges. Taking this test is one of the pre requisite of all the colleges and universities.
4. IELTS is accepted by majority of universities/colleges all over the world.
A candidate’s test score is shown in the band format.
Out of total 9 bands. The
IELTS result is valid for two years.
IELTS is mainly in two modules- mainly General and Academic.
The General is usually taken by candidates seeking for immigration or work permit visa. Whereas Academic is for
Candidates aiming to study abroad.
The result is valid for two (2) years.

IELTS is taken in mostly all cities including Baroda. There are usually 4 dates in Baroda in a month. British Council has one date and IDP has 3 dates. IELTS
